Momi (the “App”) values your privacy. This policy explains the information processed by the App, why it is processed, and how you can manage it.
| Information | Purpose | Storage |
|---|---|---|
| Baby name, birth date, gender, and profile photo | Profile display and age calculation | Device and the user's private iCloud storage |
| Feeding, sleep, diaper, growth, tooth, and milestone records | Tracking, summaries, and insights | Device and the user's private iCloud storage |
| Theme, notification, cooldown, and other preferences | Maintain the user's settings | On device |
When the user is signed in to iCloud and synchronization is available, care records may sync across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. The data is stored in the user's private CloudKit database and is subject to Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy.
| Information | Purpose | Processor |
|---|---|---|
| Feature events such as screen views, onboarding steps, record success, general record category, input method, paywall entry, and purchase result | Feature improvement and funnel analysis | Google LLC |
| App instance identifier, app version, device model, OS version, language, country, and related technical information | Usage and quality analysis | Google LLC |
Momi does not send baby names, birth dates, profile photos, feeding amounts, exact record times, notes, or recognized speech text in Firebase Analytics events. Analytics information is processed using an app instance rather than a named Momi account.
Voice logging is implemented to require on-device recognition through Apple's Speech framework. Recorded audio and recognized text are not stored on Momi servers and are not sent to Firebase Analytics.
Premium purchases are processed by Apple StoreKit. Momi does not directly collect payment-card details. Transaction results required to provide and restore Premium access are used for app functionality.
| Information | Retention | Deletion |
|---|---|---|
| On-device care records and settings | Until the user deletes them | Delete records in the App or remove the App |
| Private iCloud care records | Until the user deletes the records or iCloud data | Delete records in the App or use the Apple Account iCloud storage controls |
| Firebase Analytics information | According to the Google Analytics property's retention settings and applicable law | Deleted or aggregated after the applicable retention period |
| Apple transaction information | According to Apple's payment and legal-retention policies | According to Apple's policies |
Removing the App may not remove data already synchronized to the user's private iCloud storage. Use the App's record deletion features or the Apple Account iCloud storage controls to manage that data.
| Processor | Information | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Inc. | Private iCloud records and purchase transaction information | CloudKit synchronization and payment processing |
| Google LLC | Pseudonymous app usage events and technical information | Firebase Analytics |
Processing locations and practices may depend on each provider's infrastructure and policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.
Momi is a tool for guardians to record a baby's care information and is not intended for direct use by children. Baby information is processed for app functionality on the guardian's device and in private iCloud storage. Baby names and detailed care-record contents are not included in Firebase Analytics events.
